We offer a wide range of classes - click on the timetable in the menu bar above to see them.
Continuing Classes
We continue offer a wide range of arts & crafts classes in the day and the evening - from spinning and weaving to embroidery, stained glass classes, kiln glass and making glass beads (Lampwork), various painting classes, pottery and woodcarving as well as upholstery. There's something to suit everyone at every level. If you want more information about what the class covers, phone the tutor (contacts on the timetable).
FEES
The cost of our classes remains very good value for money, averaging £4.20 per week.
Annual membership remains at £15, valid Sept-Aug and is payable in addition to your class fee.
Membership entitles members to use the studios outwith class times if the studio is not in use(you must sign in on the sheet inside the main door in this instance). Members receive 3 newsletters a year and may also attend the Open Door session 10am-12 on a Wednesday morning (£1 weekly donation suggested towards energy costs). You may enter work in the annual exhibition.

Classes that are more expensive eg woodcarving, will always count as “first” classes with any other classes taken counting as an “additional” class.
We regret that PACC is not able to offer concessions to those who are 60 and over. We are a self funding organisation and it is only thanks to the goodwill of the Lamp of Lothian Trustees who do not charge us rent for the building, that we are able to keep fees as reasonable as they are.

Access to the building
If you're new to Poldrate, by the main door of the Granary and Mill is an entry pad. Press the large button for the floor you want (G, 1 or 3) and wait for your tutor to buzz you in for your first class.
