LIFE DRAWING SESSIONS

Kate Henderson will once again be organising Life Drawing sessions.  These will be on 27th September, 25th October and 29th November, from 2pm to 4pm on the third floor of the Granary.  The cost will be between £5 and £7.  Numbers are limited and Life Drawing is popular, so best to contact Kate beforehand on 01620 824 130.

Kate goes from strength to strength, she has just been elected a Professional Member of the Society of Scottish Artists and has had a piece of work selected for the British Glass Biennial; and to add to that, she is now an Associate of the British Society of Glass Painters!

NEW CLASSES

Saturday Life Drawing Class:   £80 for the 10 week term

This is a new venture, we’ve previously only had the occasional life model.  The fee for this class has to take account of the need to pay the model and we hope members will appreciate that £8 for a tutored class plus a model is, in fact, very reasonable.  This class will count as the “first” class, with any other class taken counting as an “additional” class.  As the class is tutored, we hope that members will appreciate that it’s quite unlike Kate’s workshops which are self-help.

Exploring Textiles

This class is intended for those who have a knowledge of basic embroidery but want to expand, learn new techniques such as dyeing, painting, printing, bonding, slashing and burning to create new fabrics on which to stitch. (Sounds exciting! Cynthia).

Jewellery with Beads

Learn how to make necklaces, earrings and bracelets using different findings and beads of your choice to design and produce your own unique items of jewellery.  This class is for beginners.

You Can Design D2

This class is aimed at providing an understanding, through practical work, of the basic principles or “language” of composition and design. This is a new venture for PACC but a great introduction to learning how to be creative with your ides and is of practical use in all the disciplines we cover.
